A 3-day study trip to the Andreas Züst library in Appenzell. During the stay we collected 230 pictures from 230 different books from the library. Apart from that we each conducted an interview about books with an English-speaking person.
With all the materials collected by 23 students we were assigned a task to design a boiled down version of the library.
I’ve designed two books. One with only pictures from the library and one with only the interviews. The reading book is meant to be a to-go book, which you can carry and read it anywhere. Whereas the series of collages in the picture book is meant to be for a fun and entertaining read.
